I LOVE THIS CD. I keep telling Mark that, so I thought I should start my little paragraph here with it. The almost instant build up on the opening song “Left for the Dead” will grab you and hold you throughout the entire album. Instruments like an acoustic guitar, electric guitars, banjo, bass guitar, ukuleles, glockenspiels, and drums create such a quick plucking musical environment that is hard not to enjoy. It is perfect for dancing too and singing along to at the top of your lungs. You can hear the emotion and passion in all of the songs. There isn’t a single song I dislike on the album. Some of my other favorites are “Through the Dark (Part II)” and “Sun and the Sound.” Support great local music and pick up Mark Ward’s new album “Through the Dark” you won’t regret it!
