After spending my Sunday afternoon at a Folk Festival I decided to top my evening off with the very loud high energy (six) boys of the Devil Wears Prada. Their dedicated fans filled the Service Station all wearing their D.W.P. shirts. Matt was taking photos so I got to stand on stage while he shot for the first part of the show. This was cooler then I expected, because I got to see the boys huddle before the show to pray and get each other pumped up. It was also fun to watch the screaming 15 year old girls & boys in the front row just trying to touch one of them when they got on stage, and even though I laughed at that I still do the same thing on occasion. Even though I couldn’t understand A WORD D.W.P. was screaming/singing, they deserve a high five for their stage presence. The boys were jumping around like human pogo sticks on crack, and the best part was they all lined up and simultaneously head banged, some say cheesy but I LOVED IT! By the end of the night Matt was still wondering if the Devil really does wear Prada.
