Henry and Vaughn blew my socks off with this album. They took it up as many notches as one could. The sound is crystal clear and extremely sophisticated. I am more than proud to say these two are from my city. Front to back I love everything about it. Some of the album has a huge Radiohead feel and everything else is 100% Henry and Vaughn, known as Dead Serious Lovers. After seeing them countless times live this album is a treasure to have. Henry’s vocals send chills down my spine, they are so elegant and soft. The writing mixes like wine with the instruments. From song one to the end it runs like silk. One of the coolest parts about Dead Serious Lovers, is they released the album for free and you can stream and download it HERE. It is a must have for your 2010 Record Collection and one of the top local records of 2010.
Henry I have told you this every single time I have seen you lately, Vaughn I don’t get to see you as much but – this album is amazing I will forever cherish it.
