Jared Lee at the KCDA Studios on Wednesday, August 17th
Jared Lee and his friend Jeremy Beaver came by the KCDA Studios to perform a mini concert for a few listeners. Jared Lee is presently being played on 103.1 KCDA with his current single “It’s Over (Goodbye).” Which of course he performed for us, actually as his last song of his mini set. However Jared Lee did throw in one cover for us which happened to be Bruno Mars’ “Grenade.” I really enjoyed the cover of “Grenade” because it was performed acoustically by Jeremy on the guitar and with Jared Lee’s vocals it almost sounded like a completely different song, a more romantic song. Jared Lee also performed his songs “Beautiful World” and “Hold You Down.” He was a down to earth guy and it was a fun little set.
This was both Jared Lee and Jeremy’s first time in Spokane and they both just loved how fresh our air was, they couldn’t stop talking about it. After hearing four songs from Jared Lee, I wouldn’t mind seeing a full set of his and since he loves the air so much I am assuming he will be coming back.
