Kari Marguerite has always been a bright positive person in the music scene, always finding new ways to bring music to people and having fun while doing so. Every time I see her at shows she is dressed as cute as a button and dancing and singing along to all of the songs. Her personality shines through in her new self titled album “Kari Marguerite and the 76.” It is great to see her and her band bringing a soulful jazzy pop sound to the Spokane music scene, because there isn’t a lot of it floating around. You can here the passion in Kari’s vocals and the song writing is impressive as well. I was instantly taken back by the production on the album, the sound quality is wonderful as well. It is true that you can not get through at least two or three songs on the album without tapping your feet. The music takes over your eardrums and sends your toes across the floor. I am more then excited to here the album live this Saturday, February 19th at the CD Release Show!
