There is something that sends a chill down my neck when I hear Berninger sing. This album isn’t one for a sunny day but a day of mellow thoughts. There is a lot of light and dark emotion in the album to keep you mind moving. This year will be the first time I will see them live, at Sasquatch on the 29th, and I am interested in how I will perceive the album live. Even though summer is coming and I want every sugary pop or punk rock song on my iPod, and this album isn’t, I do recommend you save it for those “self” days or cool summer nights. My favorite tracks are “Sorrow,” “Bloodbuzz Ohio,” and “Terrible Love.”
