There’s nothing that can compare to the duel vocals of Neko Case and A.C. Newman. These artists are amazing alone and together can do the ears wonders. The New Pornographers have so many members and instruments its almost a puzzle to keep track, but I think that is part of their charm. They remind me of a indie rock pop Polyphonic Spree Super Group. Whew that is a lot to say. The two gems on this album are “Your Hands (Together),” “Sweet Talk, Sweet Talk.” It’s a solid pop album and a solid New Pornographers album. I must say I love the album art work and the inside snow globe picture is even better. After only a few listens it’s not our favorite New Pornographers album but I am sure that it will grow on us with time.
