Yo Gabba Gabba LIVE! There’s A Party In Your Town on the INB Performing Arts Center on Friday, November 12th 3pm Showing
I don’t think I have ever seen so much FUN in the INB Performing Arts Center. As soon as I walked to my seat I was surrounded by kids with their Yo Gabba Gabba hats, shirts, costumes, stuffed toys, lights, and even DJ Lance Rock glasses! Yep everyone who came to the show got a pair as they walked in! They are awesome, wearing mine right now… I don’t think I am going to take them off for the rest of the night. There were also plenty of hipster parents sitting around me as well.
As soon as the lights dropped all the kids were oowhhh and awhhing. You could hear their excitement through the entire show! First DJ Lance Rock popped out of the giant screen and came to life on stage and soon to follow him were his Yo Gabba Gabba friends. But of course, we had to yell the secret words first… YO GABBA GABBA! Sure enough Muno, Plex, Brobee, Foofa, and Toodee all came out on stage! Then we had to play the Name Game! After that it was Time to Dance and that we did! Then we got to play Peak-A-Boo and before we knew it was time for the super musical guest and new friend Keller Williams to take the stage!
Keller Williams looped us a song barefooted at that, about hula hoops called “Hula Hoop to da Loop” and then he even hula hooped with a light up hula hoop! It was cool to see the room get quite for him as he picked up his instruments and slowly built an entire song by himself!
After our super musical friend Keller left we got the wiggles out with Head Arms Legs Feet! Then the lights went black but the Yo Gabba Gabba gang told us Don’t Be Afraid It’s Okay and we learned that the dark isn’t scary! We also learned that All Of Our Friends Are Different and that Balloons Make Us Happy! The Yo Gabba Gabba gang taught us about keeping clean and playing with bubbles!
DO IT was the guest for the Dancy Dance and he taught us all how to do the Peanut Butter Stomp! I also got a little chilly when we did the Freeze, dance game but Biz had us all warmed up by doing some beat boxing! It was actually cool because Biz had kids come up to him from the crowd and do different beat boxes. It was really funny with the little kids and people were jacked to see Biz Markie in person! After he worked with the kids he did a solo beat box for us that was stellar! There was a Party In Our Tummy and we learned that its nice to give hugs to people we love.
If I was a parent, I would totally have my kids at this show! It was entertaining for all ages and there were bubbles, balloons, confetti and streamers all in the show! There was lots of dancing, singing, and laughter! Very colorful, music oriented, and pretty much awesome!
I am stoked I got to party with Yo Gabba Gabba in Spokane!
